If you buy a home that is in a bad neighborhood and has poor schools, you’ll quickly regret that decision.  If you can’t afford to purchase a home that is in a good location, you should work on your credit and save up some money until you are able to purchase a home that is in a desirable location.

This will protect you from having your mail stolen and by extension identity theft. Mailboxes made of steel are virtually impossible to get into and does open easily when you use your key for access. If there is any sign of tampering you should have it immediately repaired. Also if you should see someone tampering with your mail box, you should write down their description and report it to the police or your local postmaster. Do not accost these persons by yourself, if at all; let the police handle the matter.
