Does anyone know how to reset the PIN on this thing?

I just bought it and the service is TERRIBLE. I am a computer engineer and so I am not an idiot, but there is NO instruction provided how to reset the PIN if you forget it. This product is USELESS without the info!

I purchased one of skylink’s products in December 2009. Bad design and Customer Service and repair facility was a real nightmare. Unless you want a HUGE LONGTERM headache avoid this company.

We bought the Skylink SC-100 and purchased a few other motion detectors and door/window sensors to go along with it. Setup was simple and the instructions were clear and concise. Install took around a couple of hours, making sure to do everything by the book. Tested everything in chime mode like the instructions said, everything working perfectly. Even tested with the alarm on and I can attest that it is extremely loud and should drive any burglar away.

Then we ran into a problem. After setting the alarm in “night” mode, upon getting up the next day, we found the alarm not set like it was when we went to bed. Tried setting it again and it all lit up like it was armed, but opening every door and window, the alarm would not sound. I pressed the panic button and the alarm blared, so that was working. I even cleared out every zone and reinstalled each sensor, to no avail. Now the chime mode won’t even work. I am going to send the entire system back.

I give the system two stars due to it’s good price and the idea that it would be a good system if it worked correctly.
